Cudicini: Chelsea looked a bit tired

Carlo Cudicini has admitted he was surprised by how ordinary his former club Chelsea looked when his Tottenham side beat them 1-0 last week. “Of course I was surprised by the result,” he told the Daily Star.

“I didn’t expect Tottenham to win the game but I was more surprised by the way Chelsea played. It was a bit slow, without much pace. Apart from the last 20 minutes or so, where of course Chelsea put us under pressure, there was nothing really special about the performance. They looked a bit tired.”
