Danny Rose and Paulo Gazzaniga free to leave Tottenham in January

According to The Athletic, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to offload left-back Danny Rose and goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga in the January transfer window. It has been reported that Rose and Gazzaniga are free to leave the Premier League club next month.

Rose was left out of Tottenham’s Premier League and Europa League squad this season and is out of contact at the North London club at the end of the season. The 30-year-old left-back spent the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle. Gazzaniga has been on the books of Spurs since 2017 and has fallen down the pecking order this season following the arrival of Joe Hart on a free transfer in the summer of 2020.

Tottenham have progressed to the knockout rounds of the Europa League this season and are doing well in the Premier League at the moment. Jose Mourinho’s side are sixth in the league table with 25 points from 14 matches, six points behind leaders and defending champions Liverpool.
