Diarra set to make comeback

Portsmouth manager Tony Adams has revealed that Lassana Diarra could make a comeback against Bolton.

The Frenchman has been out with an ankle injury since November but could be in line for a return to the team against Bolton on 20th December.

He told The News: “I spoke to Lassana on Sunday after the West Brom game and he will be training by this weekend.

“If he doesn’t train Thursday then he might be training Friday – but he’ll definitely be back among the squad of players on Monday. So that’s great.

“Bolton might be too early – but I’m not going to rule him out.”
