Diego Armando Maradona scored twice in what was arguably the most controversial football game ever as his team edged past England in the quarterfinals. One of the goals was the famous “Hand of God”, and the other – sheer brilliance, later declared the “Goal of the Century”.

Gary Lineker headed in the consolation goal for England.
