Diego Llorente wants Leeds United exit, Real Betis interested?

According to El Gol Digital, Real Betis are interested in signing Diego Llorente from Leeds United in the summer of 2021. It has been reported by the Spanish news outlet that La Liga outfit are keen on securing the services of the defender, who himself is keen on a return to his native Spain.

The report has claimed that Llorente wants to leave Leeds over lack of regular playing time. It has stated that head coach Marcelo Bielsa has ostracised the 27-year-old. However, the Spain international has actually had injury and fitness, and that is the reason why he has not played much football.

According to WhoScored, Llorente has made five starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier league for Leeds so far this season. The 27-year-old joined the West Yorkshire club from Real Sociedad only in the summer of 2020, and it is hard to see the Whites sell him after just one season.
