Doni not keen on leaving Roma

Roma goalkeeper Doni is not keen on leaving the Serie A side in the January transfer window, according to his agent.

The Brazilian international has fallen behind Julio Sergio in the pecking order at the club, due to a lengthy knee problem.

“Doni is settled in Rome and does not intend to seek any alternatives to the Giallorossi, as I have already said in the past,” agent Ovidio Colucci told LaRoma24.it.

Reports have suggested that Roma are keen to sell the 30-year-old in January.

“I have only read about it in the papers,” maintained Colucci.

“I don’t know anything about it nor have I received any calls from the club. The player has not been told anything in that respect.”
