Dortmund join race for Moussa Sissoko

French media outlet L’Equipe understands that Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund are hot on the trail of Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

The 26-year-old has become one of the hottest commodities in English football following some impressive displays at Euro 2016, and he has made it clear that he wants to leave Magpies for greener pastures.

A number of top European sides have been linked with moves for Moussa Sissoko over the last couple of weeks, and the latest reports suggest Borussia Dortmund have joined the race as well.

The Millionaires need midfield reinforcements after cashing in on Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and they will attempt to bring the French footballer to Signal-Iduna Park.

Moussa Sissoko is desperate to leave Newcastle United after the club were relegated to the second division, while he is also searching for a fresh challenge having spent last three and a half years at St James’ Park, making 118 Premier League appearances and scoring 11 goals.
