It looks like another saga will be coming to an end. And finally! Inter are about to sign Edin Dzeko from AS Roma, a transfer that has been talked about for weeks now, but it looked like the deal stalled. But, according to Sky Sport Itali and Fabrizio Romano, Dzeko is ‘very close’ to becoming new Inter Milan striker.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international will join Inter for a fee of €10m with 18-year-old forward Edoardo Vergani also part of the deal, heading to the Giallorossi as the makeweight in this transfer. It took a lot of time for the clubs to agree on terms and Vergani is the one who was brought in as part of the deal in order to keep the transfer fee lower.
The move will see the 33-year-old, who scored 9 goals in 33 league games for Roma last season, move to the San Siro at the end of June.
