Eintracht Frankfurt want to replace Jovic with Joveljic

Eintracht Frankfurt have lost Luka Jovic to Real Madrid this summer, but his replacement could be his compatriot, Dejan Joveljic. The Bundesliga side are looking towards Red Star Belgrade, where forward Dejan Joveljic has done well last season, scoring 11 goals in 24 appearances.

Considering Joveljic is 19 years old and has been shattering all records in youth ranks of the champions of Serbia, it is no wonder Eintracht are paying attention to the situation. Joveljic is, like Jovic, ‘the son’ of Red Star Belgrade, showing potential at a very young age and doing well in their first team. A number of other clubs are interested in securing the Serbian’s services including Benfica, Wolfsburg and Mainz, but in recent days it was also Hoffenheim who were reportedly interested.

Joveljic could go into footsteps of Luka Jovic, whose 60 million euro deal took him to Real Madrid, earning a six-year deal with the Spanish giants.
