The friendly between El Salvador and Jamaica ended in a goalless draw here last night.

Both teams will be continuing with the World Cup qualifying CONCACAF matches in August.

In the match El Salvador, buoyed by the largely partisan crowd, were in complete control in the first half, but for extreme heroics by the Jamaican goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts, the score could have been half a dozen.

However in the second half Jamaica began to get into the game more and it was left to the El Salvador goalkeeper Miguel Montes to produce some splendid saves.

Both teams are in action again when the World Cup qualifiers get under way from 20 August. Jamaica plays Canada while El Salvador faces Costa Rica.
