Barcelona star Samuel Eto’o’s agent has admitted that the Cameroon international is ‘honoured’ to be linked with a move to Inter Milan.
The 27-year-old is being linked with a swap move involving Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic joining the Spanish giants.
Eto’o’s agent, Jose Mesalles, told Ona Fm radio: “The club from Milan is a very important one.
“We cannot be anything but honoured, but I cannot say anything.
“These type of negotiations cannot be done over the phone and must be made in person.”
A deal that would see Ibrahimovic join Barcelona is also reported to include Alexander Hleb joining Eto’o in moving to Milano.
