Morocco were unable to leave a good impression in their World Cup qualifier with Gabon, who left Casablanca with a 1-2 win in the pocket.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put the away side in the lead on 34 minutes and Roguy made it 0-2 just before the interval.

Mounir El Hamdaoui did something back for the Moroccans with six minutes to go, but it was too little, too late for the home side.

Gabon share the group 1 lead with Togo, who earned a 1-0 lead over Cameroon.
