Inter looking at Nemanja Matic

Inter Milan have some big decisions this summer. Antonio Conte came in instead of Luciano Spalletti and signed several new players. Most notably, Inter signed two players from Manchester United – Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez on a season-long loan. Now, they could be looking for their third signing from Old Trafford.

If Calciomercato are to be believed, Nemanja Matic could be moving to San Siro. He could follow into footsteps of Nemanja Vidic, who also left the Devils to move to Inter Milan. Calciomercato reported that the player has been out of favour at Old Trafford this season, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer preferring to use Scott McTominay as a defensive midfielder, rather than the Serbia international.

Inter will be trying to get Matic, as his contract is due to expire in June 2020. This means that the Serbian could leave the club on a free transfer on 1 July 2020, but also that Inter could start negotiating with him for a pre-contract signature once 2020 starts.
