Jorquera doesn’t give up and stays at Barça

Keeper Albert Jorquera looks like he will be staying at Barcelona for the rest of the season after he told Spanish newspaper ‘Sport’ that the coaches believe in him. He declared that his intention was not to, “leave Barcelona”, but to, “recover confidence playing matches in the Primera División”.

“I have been told the importance that I have to the team, above all from Juan Carlos Unzué and from the coach Guardiola, and in the end I have decided to stay here,” he said.

He’s not old, beng 29. “For the position of goalkeeper I am still young and I am sure that I will have chances at some time,” he concluded.
