Jurgen Klopp top priority for Real Madrid?

Real Madrid’s exit from Champions League, at the hands of Ajax, have made the still current European champions think fast about who their next manager will be. The Independent claim it is Jurgen Klopp who is top priority at the moment.

A shortlist of three names has been mentioned, with Klopp alongside Mauricio Pochettino and Max Allegri. As much as it seems like any three of these could go to Santiago Bernabeu as much as the other two, Real Madrid have the German as their number one priority.

Real Madrid will keep Santiago Solari at the helm until the end of the season, when they will give themselves the right time to appoint a new manager. Klopp is doing very well at Liverpool, but if he fails to win Premier League this year, Real Madrid might feel they have a perfect opportunity to snatch him.

Allegri could be in a similar situation due to Juventus’ tough situation in Champions League, while Pochettino has been under their radar for some time now.
