Jurgen Klopp wants Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at Liverpool

Liverpool want to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the Premier League club’s manager, Jurgen Klopp, has been hugely impressed by the 21-year-old Georgia international winger, having faced him in the UEFA Champions League group stage this season, and wants to bring him to Anfield in the middle of the season.

Kvaratskhelia has made 11 starts and one substitute appearance in Serie A for Napoli so far this season, scoring six goals and providing five assists in the process. The Georgia international winger has also scored two goals and given three assists in five UEFA Champions League games so far this campaign.

Liverpool are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 16 points from 12 matches, as many as 15 points behind leaders Arsenal. Meanwhile, Napoli currently find themselves at the top of the Serie A table with 32 points from 12 games, five points clear of second-placed Atalanta.
