Juventus back in for Evra

Patrice Evra is close to joining Juventus just weeks after signing a new deal with Manchester United, according to the Mail Online.

The France international has been offered a two year deal worth around £55,000-a-week by the Serie A champions, and he and his wife Sandra are thought to be keen on a move to Turin.

Evra has won five Premier League titles, three League Cups and the Champions League since moving to Old Trafford from Monaco in 2006, while internationally, his appearance in the World Cup quarter final defeat to Germany last week was his sixty-first for his country.

In teenage England international Luke Shaw, United have already brought in a long term replacement for the 33 year old so they could be willing to do business with the Italian giants.

United are keen on bringing in Arturo Vidal from Juve, though will have to cough up around £37m.
