Juventus improve De Ligt bid up to €67m

It looks like we are getting closer to ending the saga called Matthijs de Ligt! The deal has not been struck yet, but Juventus are slowly improving their offer for the Dutch centre-back, which should soon see Ajax accept the offer and let their 19-year-old captain move to Turin.

Talks between the clubs continue and Dutch newspapers De Telegraaf report that Juventus have increased their offer to €67m. De Ligt has already agreed on personal terms with Juventus, but Ajax are still waiting for a bit better offer. They value De Ligt at €75m and will be eager to see Juve make their bid sweeter.

On the other hand, Serie A champions are hoping to conclude the deal as soon as this week. The reasoning for that is so that they can present De Ligt as a new signing on Saturday and take the centre-half on their pre-season tour to Asia.
