Kiko Casilla to leave Leeds United for Elche

Leeds United goalkeeper Kiko Casilla will join Elche in the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror. It has been reported that the Spaniard will move to Elche on loan for next season from Premier League outfit Leeds.

Casilla is 34 years of age and wants to play regular first-team football for Leeds. The former Real Madrid goalkeeper was a back-up to Illan Meslier last season and could make only three appearances in the Premier League and one in the FA Cup last season.

The former Espanyol star wants to play regularly for Elche next season so that he can either join them on a permanent move or fine another club who would give him a contract. Casilla moved to Leeds in January 2019 on a free transfer after leaving Spanish and European giants Casilla.
