Leeds United eye AC Milan-owned Tommaso Pobega

Leeds United are interested in signing Tommaso Pobega from AC Milan in the summer of 2021, according to Tuttosport, as relayed by Sport Witness. The report in the Italian publication has claimed interest in the 21-year-old midfielder – currently on loan at Spezia – from Leeds’s Premier League rivals Leicester City as well.

Leicester and Leeds have come forward with their interest in the youngster, according to the report, which has added that Italian giants Milan have no intention of selling him at the end of he season and have high hopes for him. The Rossoneri, though, could easily get over €10 million (£8.76 million) as transfer fee for the youngster, according to the report.

According to WhoScored, Pobega has made 11 starts and three substitute appearances in Serie A for Spezia so far this season, scoring three goals in the process. Spezia are 16th in the Serie A table at the moment with 21 points from as many matches, six points above the relegation zone.
