Leeds United plan second bid for Rangers winger Ryan Kent

Leeds United have not given up on signing Ryan Kent from Rangers in the summer transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun. Leeds, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship, had made a bid of £10 million for the former Liverpool winger, but Scottish Premiership side Rangers had turned it down.

However, the Whites will not abandon their pursuit of the 23-year-old winger. It has been reported that Leeds are planning to make a bid of £14 million for the youngster and will offer him a weekly salary of £50,000. The West Yorkshire club will hope this is enough to bring Kent to Elland Road this summer.

Kent spent the 2018-19 season on loan at Rangers from Liverpool and made the move to Ibrox permanent in the summer of 2019. The 23-year-old is an important player in manager Steven Gerrard’s side, and the Ibrox club may not be willing to sell him this summer.
