Leverkusen keep tabs on Salih Ucan

Sky Sport Italia has suggested that Bayer Leverkusen are showing interest in AS Roma midfielder Salih Ucan.

The 21-year-old arrived at Stadio Olimpico in the summer on a two-year loan, with the Giallorossi obliged to make the transfer permanent.

However, he has since featured in mere three league matches, and is already being linked with a summer exit.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Bayer Leverkusen hoped to take a closer look at the talented footballer as Roma faced AC Milan last weekend, but the youngster remained on the bench for the 21st time this season.

The German giants might be prepared to offer Ucan an escape route from Stadio Olimpico nonetheless, as they could see Gonzalo Castro leave in the summer.

Bayer Leverkusen ruined their hopes of achieving a top 3 finish in German Bundesliga as they suffered a heavy loss to Borussia M’gladbach, but die Werkself are 2/5 to return to winning ways against Hoffenheim.
