Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur eye Kalvin Phillips

According to The Mirror, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United. It has been reported that the Reds and Spurs are planning to make a move for the England international next summer.

Phillips is doing well for Leeds in the Premier League at the moment after playing a big role in the Whites clinching automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season. The 24-year-old has also earned call-ups to the England squad this season.

The Mirror has reported that Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp have been impressed with Phillips. The midfielder earns £30,000 per week as salary, and both the Reds and Spurs would be wiling to more than double his wages, according to the report. According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old has played in all four of Leeds’s Premier League games so far this season.
