Liverpool want to sign Moises Caicedo from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer of 2023, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Liverpool want to bring in a new midfielder at the end of the season, and one of the players that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are looking at is Caicedo.
Caicedo is one of the better young midfielders in the Premier League and is an important player for Brighton. Arsenal, who are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment, wanted to sign the Ecuador international midfielder in the January transfer window, but the Seagulls turned turns three bids from the Gunners.
Liverpool are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 29 points from 19 matches, as many as 10 points behind fourth-placed Manchester United. Meanwhile, Brighton currently find themselves seventh in the standings with 31 points from 19 games.
