Liverpool target Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiaso

Liverpool are interested in signing Andrea Cambiaso from Juventus in the summer transfer window, according to CalcioMercato. The report has claimed that the Reds, who have already won the Premier League title this season, are looking at Cambiaso as a potential replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who seems set to join Spanish and European powerhouse Real Madrid.

Manchester City, who won the Premier League title last season, are also interested in a summer deal for Cambiaso. Man City see the Italy international playing as a left-back in Pep Guardiola’s system, while Liverpool want the 25-year-old to operate at right-back.

Cambiaso is able to play on either side of defence and is two-footed. The Italian star has been at Juventus since 2022 and has made 78 appearances for the Bianconeri. The full-back has scored five goals and made nine assists in those games for Juventus, who are fourth in the Serie A table at the moment with 62 points from 34 matches.
