Loftus-Cheek signs new Chelsea deal

Ruben Loftus-Cheek signed a new five-year contract at Chelsea. According to media reports, English midfielder will be earning £120,000-a-week, commiting to lucrative terms that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until at least 2024.

The 23-year-old is a product of a productive academy system at Stamford Bridge and after spending 2017-18 season on loan at Crystal Palace, last campaign was the one in which he truly announced himself to Chelsea fans. After signing the contract extension, Loftus-Cheek spoke about his happiness for this deal to happen.

“I’m really happy and pleased that I get to stay here for another five years. It’s the place where I’ve grown up playing and hopefully I’ll be playing here for a lot longer. I hope to win a lot more trophies with the team and personally it’s just about trying to do as well as I can and work hard to be a key player for Chelsea.”
