Manchester City’s record breaking seasons in which they had won 100 and 98 points respectively and two Premier League titles now seem distant, now that Liverpool are doing so incredibly well this year. A part in those problems for Man City not being as good as before is that they are having a lot of defensive issues, especially at the centre-back positions.
This summer, Pep Guardiola and his side will have to figure things out and fix the backline and one of the potential solutions comes from Italy. It is Inter Milan’s defender Milan Skriniar who has been mentioned by Calciomercato as a potential signing for Man City this summer.
The Premier League champions could launch a bid going as high as 80 million euros for the 25-year-old centre-back. Considering his performances in Italy, that is no surprise, whilst Skriniar has already made 28 appearances across all competitions for Inter so far this season.
