Manchester City have not done so well this season. It is not yet over and they could still end up becoming European champions if things go right for them next month, but they lost their Premier League and FA Cup trophies and now Pep Guardiola wants to improve his squad as much as possible, to make that return to winning the biggest trophies.
With Leroy Sane already departed for Bayern Munich, there are now even more positions City are expected to improve themselves in and one of the prospects many expect to arrive at the Etihad is Ferran Torres. The 20-year-old Spaniard is a Valencia winger who is reportedly close to joining Man City, but there are still things to be done.
The Telegraph are reporting that Torres is City’s replacement for Sane, but Valencia are still holding back. Torres wants to play for Guardiola and has agreed personal terms, but Valencia want to get as much as possible in transfer fee for a player that will become a free agent next summer. His release clause stands at 100 million euros.
