Ederson Moraes suffered an injury and had to be replaced by Claudio Bravo in Manchester City’s 1-1 draw away to Atalanta in the Champions League this week. Bravo himself was later sent off, and City finished the game with right-back Kyle Walker in goal.
They face table toppers Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday, at Anfield, and they will need the services of Pep Guardiola’s first-choice goalkeeper. However, it remains to be seen whether the Brazilian will be ready.
