Manchester City identify Sergio Ramos as potential transfer target

Manchester City are interested in signing Real Madrid central defender Sergio Ramos, according to ESPN F360. Ramos is out of contract at Spanish and European giants Madrid at the end of the season, and no new deal is in place.

It has been reported that former Premier League champions City are interested in securing the services of Ramos on a free transfer in the summer of 2021. The Citizens are also claimed to want to bring Lionel Messi to the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season when he is out of contract at Barcelona.

Ramos is one of the best centre-backs of all time and has been at Madrid since 2005 when he joined from Sevilla. The 34-year-old Spain international has won the La Liga title five times and the Champions League on four occasions. Ramos has also won the World Cup once and the European Championship twice with Spain.
