Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus will cost Arsenal £40 million

Arsenal will have to pay £40 million if they are to sign Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to The Express. The report has claimed that defending Premier League champions value Jesus at £40 million, and that the Gunners want to secure the services of the Brazil international striker.

Jesus has made 18 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for City so far this season, scoring eight goals and providing eight assists in the process. The 25-year-old has made two starts and five substitute appearances in the Champions League for Pep Guardiola’s side this campaign, scoring four goals and giving one assist in the process.

Arsenal are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table at the moment, while City are a point clear at the top of the standings.
