Manchester United agree terms with Mandzukic

Manchester United are still trying to find a way to complete the swap with Juventus between Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala, but they just might sign another player from the Serie A champions. According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils are set to sign Mario Mandzukic, after agreeing terms with the Croatian striker.

The news that came out last week out of nowhere seem to be getting more and more traction, as Man United are trying to finish as many deals as possible before the English transfer window ends next Thursday. Harry Maguire deal is basically done, Dybala talks continue, but Mandzukic is apparently very close to moving to Old Trafford as well.

Man United will reportedly pay around £15m for the 33-year-old combative forward. Mandzukic is expected to sign a three-year deal that would keep him at the club until 2022, when he will be 36, earning £6.2m per year. He is seen as the ideal replacement for Romelu Lukaku, as the Devils will be light on options if the Belgian leaves this summer.
