The report has claimed that United are going to target players who are in the final year of their contracts, and that Kimmich is on the radar of the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners.

The 29-year-old, who can operate as a right-back or as a midfielder, has been on the books of Bayern since 2015 and is one of the first names on the teamsheet when he is fit available. Kimmich has scored one goal and given three assists in 14 Bundesliga matches and has given two assists in six UEFA Champions League games this season.
