Manchester United linked with former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham

Manchester United are interested in signing former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham from AS Roma in the summer of 2023, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners United are keen on securing the services of Victor Osimhen from Napoli, but they are aware that the current Serie A leaders do not want to sell him. So, the Red Devils have identified former Chelsea striker Abraham as a potential alternative.

Abraham has made 17 starts and four substitute appearances in Serie A for Roma so far this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in the process. The 25-year-old English striker has made four starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Europa League so far this campaign, scoring one goal in the process.

United are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 43 points from 22 matches. The Red Devils are three points behind second-placed and defending champions Manchester City, who have played 21 matches, and seven points behind leaders Arsenal, who have played 20 games. Meanwhile, Roma currently find themselves third in the Serie A standings with 40 points from 21 games, as many as 16 points behind leaders Napoli.
