Manchester United are ready to sell defenders Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo in the January transfer window, according to ESPN. The 28-year-old England international England international centre-back and the 30-year-old Argentina international defender have been left out of United’s Champions League squads.
Jones has been on the books of United since 2011, but the Englishman has lost his place in the team and has not been at the top of his game for a while. Rojo moved to Old Trafford back in 2014, and the defender has failed to be fully convincing during his time at the Red Devils and had a loan spell at Estudiantes during the second half of last season.
United are 14th in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from seven matches. The Red Devils are at the top of Champions League Group H with six points from three matches.
