The former Brentford star was superb for Villa last season. Watkins made 36 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League. The striker scored 15 goals and gave six assists in those games.
United are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and a move to Old Trafford could be very tempting to Watkins. The striker is 27 now and is at the top of his game, and the chance to play in the UEFA Champions League and compete for the Premier League title could be hugely appealing to him.
