Mario Gotze could make a move to Serie A

Mario Gotze is a wanted man. Former Borussia Dortmund star has been out of contract since the season had ended and the German giants decided against giving him another contract. Now the World Cup winner from 2014 is without the club and is free to choose his next destination.

After initial talks that he will be going to Spain, now Italy is another option. According to Corriere Dello Sport, Gotze is a target for Fiorentina. The Serie A outfit are exploring the possibility of signing Gotze as a free agent, where he could be reunited with Franck Ribery, his former teammate at Bayern Munich.

Gotze was previously linked with a move to Sevilla and even his compatriot and Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen came out publicly a few weeks ago to say that Gotze would fit very well into Spanish football. But who knows, he might be making a move to Italy after all.
