Reports suggest Wigan Athletic striker Marlon King is on the verge of signing for Middlesbrough while Mido is set to move in the opposite direction.
Twenty-eight-year-old King is currently on loan at Hull City but is believed to have been sent home by Tigers boss Phil Brown at the weekend.
