Mellberg: Juventus must beat Roma

Juventus face a wounded Roma side on Saturday, looking to keep their hopes in the title race alive. The Bianconeri trail Inter by seven points and Swedish defender Olof Mellberg insists that his side must be victorious against the Giallorossi.

“We are addressing a very strong team and it will be a difficult match. It is likely that Inter will win at home against Reggina, so we must do the same to maintain the distance between us,” the player was quoted as saying.

“Roma are missing several key players, but their absences will not be used as an excuse by anyone.”
