Milan’s Borini set for Premier League return

There was a lot of talk of who are the players AC Milan might bring in during the winter transfer window now that they started the season poorly, but now there is also the talk of the players that could leave San Siro. According to Gazetta dello Sport, that is Fabio Borini, who is being linked with a return to Premier League.

The Italian media outlet claim that Borini is being targeted by Crystal Palace, who are badly in need of a striker. There were rumours of Palace going after Olivier Giroud on a six-month long loan, but that never really felt that realistic. The 28-year-old Borini is getting closer to the end of his contract at Milan and next summer he could be free to join a new club without needing permission from his club.

Selhurst Park has been mooted as the most likely next destination for Borini, who has previously played for Liverpool and Sunderland.
