Monaco thinking about Spalletti

AS Monaco seem to always be in some kind of turmoil. Ever since winning the Ligue 1 title in 2017, Monaco have been in chaos, especially in the past 12 months. After just about escaping relegation to Ligue 2, they are in a tough situation once again.

After five matches into the new season, they have won two points and now Calciomercato are saying that the club is considering a move for former Inter Milan boss Luciano Spalletti. The poor start to the season has put the future of manager Leonardo Jardim in the spotlight, with the club considering yet another change in the dugout.

Jardim was let go last season when the team went into relegation zone, but the Thierry Henry appointment had not done anything good for them either. Monaco then decided to reinstall Jardim as their manager and he somehow managed to get them to safety. But now his position at the club is insecure.
