Napoli preparing contract extension for Ruiz

Napoli have done some amazing work this summer, most notably with signing Hirving Lozano from PSV Eindhoven for around €42m, but now they are preparing other deals that could be as crucial. This one is in regards to Fabian Ruiz.

The Spanish midfielder has been the subject of interest from Real Madrid and Napoli are ready to do everything they can for Ruiz not to leave the club any time soon. That is why the Serie A outfit is preparing a new contract for him. According to Calciomercato, they will offer the 23-year-old a contract extension in order to deter the Spanish giants.

Ruiz, who is also Spain international, will be offered a new contract and Calciomercato claim it will be worth €3m per year. Also, an important part of the deal would be that there would be no release clause for him. Madrid reportedly have made a bid of €45m this summer, but were rejected.
