Napoli’s offer for Tonali rejected

Napoli are making big plans for the summer. While it is still unknown whether Gennaro Gattuso will remain the coach and lead the team into the new season, and while we do not know in which European competition (if any) will Napoli play next season, we know they want to make a big move in the transfer market.

That is clear simply by looking which player they want to sign. According to Naples paper Il Mattino, that is Sandro Tonali from Brescia. According to their report, Napoli have made a bid of 45 million euros for the young midfielder, but Brescia are clearly not going to rush themselves just yet. The bid was rejected, as they want to earn somewhere in the region of 80 million euros.

The reason for that is there are other sides interested, including Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid, and Brescia hope there will be a bidding war for the 19-year-old.
