Nedved could sign new deal

Juventus midfielder Pavel Nedved is reconsidering his decision to retire at the end of the season, according to the Czech’s wife.

The 36-year-old was expected to retire, but reports says he now considers waiting for another season.

“The Monday after a game, with all the bruises to shake off, he says he’s going to retire at the end of the season,” revealed wife Ivana in Tuttosport.

“On Tuesday he says he’ll think about it later on and on Wednesday he’s already got a pen in hand to sign a contract extension!”

Nedved joined the Bianconeri from Lazio in 2001, where he started his Serie A career.
