Newcastle to complete Rob Holding loan from Arsenal

Newcastle United will compete the signing of Rob Holding from Arsenal this week, according to talkSPORT. It has been reported that Arsenal have made a decision to send the central defender to Premier League rivals Newcastle on loan for the 2020-21 campaign.

Holding joined Arsenal from Bolton Wanderers in 2016 amid much expectations, but the 24-year-old has failed to establish himself as a regular in the first team at the Emirates Stadium. The English centre-back has also been impeded by injury problems, and it seems that he will get a fresh chance to get his career back on track at Newcastle.

Newcastle are an ambitious club who are well established in the Premier League. Steve Bruce is a very good manager, and under him, Holding could flourish. What is important is that Holding makes a good start and is given a run of games to get back to his best.
