Ozil fears his Arsenal days are over

Mesut Ozil believes that he may have already played his last game for Arsenal and that his days at the club are over, according to Mirror.

The former Germany international has fallen out of favour completely with manager Unai Emery, struggling to even make the bench these days. Whether it’s a tactical thing or there’s something deeper going on between the two of them, it has become perfectly clear that Emery doesn’t see the attacking midfielder as a part of his team. The Spaniard recently said that he had left Ozil out of the squad when Arsenal played away to Manchester United through decision, rather than injury, and explained that others did more to deserve their name being on the list.

With no clubs interested in taking the 31-year-old on board full time, the Gunners are reportedly keen to send him out on loan and would even be willing to subsidize his £350,000-per-week wages. Apparently, Ozil loves living in London and doesn’t want to leave the club, but he is becoming aware that the club have drawn the line.
