Tottenham have opened negotiations with West Ham regarding Scott Parker, the Hammers boss Sam Allardyce has revealed.
It was no secret that Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was keen on the England international, but it looks as though Tottenham’s latest injury crisis has seen the experienced manager finally make a move for the veteran midfielder.
When asked whether Tottenham are in talks with West Ham over the move for Scott Parker, Sam Allradyce replied:
“I am not in talks with them but there is some dialogue going on at the moment. That is all I am aware of,” Allardyce was quoted as saying in Daily Mail.
”As in terms of what level it is at, I certainly know that a deal has not been struck by any way, shape or form at this moment in time about Scott Parker.
“Whether he is here on Wednesday depends on whether someone reaches the owners’ valuation.”
