Pogba saying goodbye?

Sky Sports have relayed a few words from reports in France which suggest that Paul Pogba has informed his teammates of his wish to leave Manchester United this summer.

The midfielder has had a torrid season at Old Trafford, first getting into a spiff with Jose Mourinho, and having recovered some of his reputation at the start of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer reign, he has again fallen into a negative spotlight with the Norwegian now criticizing him publicly amid a series of poor performances from the entire team.

The Guardian recently reported that the Frenchman, along with goalkeeper David De Gea and striker Romelu Lukaku, was contemplating his future away from the club should they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League. But now, Pogba has been apparently informed that the club will not stand in his way should he opt to leave.

A number of top clubs have been credited with strong interest in the World Cup winner, with Real Madrid leading the way after he expressed his view that playing for the Champions League holders would be a “dream for any player”.
