Barcelona and Real Betis will lock horns with each other in La Liga at Camp Nou this weekend. The match is slated to kick off at 3:15pm UK time on Sunday, and it promises to be a cracker.

Barcelona

Barcelona have made a disappointing start to their 2020-21 La Liga campaign and are struggling for wins at the moment. Things are not going well for new manager Ronald Koeman in the league or in the Champions League. The Blaugrana are as low as 12th in the league table at the moment with just eight points from six matches.

While it is still only November and there are a lot of games left for Barcelona to get things right, the fact that they are already eight points behind bitter rivals Real Madrid – who have played seven matches – is not a good sign. Barca narrowly won 2-1 against Dynamo Kyiv at Camp Nou in the Champions League in midweek following a 1-1 draw with Alaves away from home in La Liga last weekend.

Team news

Ronald Araujo, Samuel Umtiti and Philippe Coutinho are injured for Barcelona and will not feature against Betis.

Real Betis

Real Betis are actually doing better than Barcelona and appear to be in the race for a Champions League place in the La Liga table. The Andalucian club are seventh in the league table at the moment with 12 points from eight matches, two points behind fourth-placed Atletico Madrid, who have played six games.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side will head into the match against Barcelona on the back of a 3-1 victory over Elche at home. It followed defeats to Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad in the league, and Betis will be determined to build on it and spring an upset at Camp Nou this weekend.

Team news:

Dani Martin and Victor Camarasa are still injured and will not feature for Betis, while Juanmi and Andres Guardado are doubtful. Cristian Tello, though, should overcome a muscular issue.

Key Factors to Consider

  • Barcelona have scored 10 goals in six La Liga matches this season.
Real Betis have scored 10 goals in eight La Liga matches this season.
Barcelona have conceded six goals in the league this campaign.
Real Betis have shipped in 12 goals in the league this campaign.
Ansu Fati has scored four goals in the league for Barcelona this season.

Conclusion

Real Betis will fancy their chances of picking up all three points at Camp Nou, especially if they score an early goal, but Barcelona have the better team and should manage to register a win.

Prediction: Barcelona to win 2-1

Best Odds: 13/2
