Barcelona and Valencia will face each other in La Liga this coming weekend. The match between the Blaugrana and Los Che will be held at Camp Now and is scheduled to kick off at 3:15pm UK time on Sunday.

Barcelona are not having the best of times in Europe this season, but Xavi’s side are going great guns in La Liga at the moment. The former La Liga champions failed to get through from the group stage of the UEFA Champions League and lost to Manchester United over two legs in the UEFA Europa League Knockout Round tie. However, the Blaugrana look like they could win the Spanish championship this season.

Robert Lewandowski suffered a hamstring injury against Almeria. It is not clear if the former Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund striker will be able to feature in the La Liga game against Valencia at Camp Nou this coming weekend.

Valencia are one of the biggest clubs in Spain, but Los Che have been really poor so far this season. And there is a distinct possibility that they will find themselves in the Segunda Division next season. Valencia ended up as high as ninth in La Liga last season and were fourth in 2017-18 and 2018-19, but things are going horribly wrong for them this time around.

Los Che are third from bottom in the La Liga table at the moment with 23 points from 23 matches. Valencia are a point above second-from-bottom Getafe and are a point behind 17th-placed Real Valladolid. With teams above them quite close, there is still a chance that they will get out of the woods.

Valencia will head into the La Liga match against Barcelona at Camp Nou this coming weekend on the back of a 1-0 home win against Real Sociedad. It came after a 1-0 loss at the hands of Getafe on the road in the league and followed a 2-1 home defeat to Athletic Bilbao in La Liga.

Samu Castillejo is available for Valencia after serving his suspension. However,  Edinson Cavani, Thierry Correia, Nico Gonzalez and Jaume Domenech all remain on the sidelines through injury. Hugo Guillamon could start for Los Che.
